Reason and Solution of automatic switch off of mobile phones

A basic talk and reasoning on the irritating and irrelevant switching off of mobile phones. A solution to overcome phone restarts.

Mobile Phones have gotten sophisticated so much that they are being called smart phones. Todays mobile phone can not only text or call via mobile network but the phones today get cramped up with enormous amount of features and at dirt cheap price.

The dirt cheap price of such mobile phones has been on-purpose set low so that various cell phone companies survive the onslaught by various competitive cell phone manufacturers. The cell manufacturer today has exponentially decreased risks of creating a flop phone by concentrating more upon the hardware part and leaving the software competitive edge to open source development. Mobile phones have come a long way from their ancient phase of being a device with limited communication capability. A special privilege which used to come by, at a super premium price. Today however you may find that every Tom, Dick and Harry has a smart phone of his own.

This mobile craze has not been without its fair share of shortcomings. One of the most redundant problem with these phones is its tendency to shut down and restart for no apparent reason. Technically a lot of reasons can be attributed to unscheduled restart of the phone but on face it still is a mysterious issue which bogs every other mobile phone user.

Automatic switch off is nothing new. There was a time when tech geeks used to recommend a phone restart to observe or force any change with the phone. Those days are long gone, it is the era of Android and iOS. Considering the amount of code that goes into the making of these high spec phones, it mind boggling to think that the phone would ultimately fail and restart without any user effecting it.

Everytime a mobile phone automatically switches off and restarts the first reason which a technician gives on inquiry is a loose connection between the mobile and its battery points. If you have a curious eye then you may have noted that the battery terminals of mobile are coated with gold. There terminals are supposed to work fine for a minimum standard time, but alas manufacturing has its quality limits and a mobile fails at times in working in an uninterrupted way. The easiest solution to this problem is to change the battery.

At times even a battery change may not stop the re-occurrence of phone restarting, in such a scenario one should investigate if there is a software crashing issue related to the phone or operating system. A few Android and Symbian phones have been reported to crash for various numerous reasons. Windows has been the favorite crash loving OS out there. So if you read reviews of mobile phones and if somebody says that the phone switches off and then restarts automatically then be sure to investigate the matter not only the hardware way but even the software way.
